Students will write 3 journal entries on pg. 36 in their spiral. The first entry should be from the view of a Texas settler getting ready for their trip to Texas. The second entry should be written as if the student is on the actual trip to Texas. The third entry should be written as if the student just arrived in Texas. I am looking for the thoughts, emotions, and hardships along the way.
