HOMEWORK

Students will write 3 journal entries on pg. 36 in their spiral. The first entry should be from the view of a Texas settler getting ready for their trip to Texas. The second entry should be written as if the student is on the actual trip to Texas. The third entry should be written as if the student just arrived in Texas. I am looking for the thoughts, emotions, and hardships along the way.

I need to check for textbooks. Instead of the students all bringing their textbooks into school I just want the textbook number from the inside front cover. Students can either email me their textbook number or write it down on a piece of paper with their name and period number.

Answer these questions for Stephen Ausin, DeWitt/de Leon, and other empresarios
